Meet Chanstay
I attended the College of Saint Catherine in Saint Paul, MN where I studied Business Administration with a marketing and management concentration. I have worked in the marketing and advertising field since 1996 where I’ve honed my skills as a copywriter. I have worked as a Freelance Copywriter in Seattle and Minneapolis.
I am a current board member of the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY.org)where I focus on sponsorship and fundraising. I am a past executive committee member of Seattle Urban League of Greater Seattle (SULYP.org), where I chaired the fundraising committee, I am still very active with the organization today.
As you can see I have a passion for non-profits. Each month I pick a small local non-profit to dedicate my services to free of charge. The non-profits I choose typically are run by less than 5 employees or entirely run by volunteers. I work with them to find out where I am needed most, choose 1-2 project, then I provide them the same level of service I offer my paying clients: effect copy, excellent communication and quick turn around. In my spare time I volunteer at my daughter's school or at church and write screenplays.
I live in the Twin Cities with my wonderful daughter, Livia, and her 3 pet rats, Billy, Mr. Nice and Short-tail.
